prolactinoma, no AF after provera

I am a newbie here. I wanted a little advice to see if anyone else had a similiar situation.  I was diagnosed with prolactinoma (1.5cm by 1.5cm) in 2006, prolactin level 1176.  After 6 years of cabergoline, prolactin is 7.6 (best it's ever been).  Went to OB after I stopped BC end of Feb.  Got AF after last BC pill but haven't got it again.  Been doing OPKs and pregnancy tests daily- with nothing.  She ordered blood tests, MRI, referred me to RE and started me on provera (10 days).  MRI- 0.8cm by 1.2 cm cyst "likely degeneration from prolactinoma treatment." which scares me somewhat because that still seems pretty large.  Estrogen low (10).  FSH, LH, AMH, and TSH all normal.  After 10 days of provera, no period.  Went to RE yesterday for the first time.  He checked lining which is thin due to low estrogen.  It sounds like even though my prolactin is the best it's ever been, estrogen is still out of whack and I won't get my period on my own.  He explained to me that there are other types of prolactin that may be excreted causing the problems that are not detected in the blood test.  They started me on Clomid yesterday to try to get me ovulating (50mg for 5 days).  My eyes/contacts and mouth are dry.  Did anyone else experience any of this?  Does the dryness improve each day?  Also any info on having low estrogen would be helpful.
