PIO girls: how long were you on it?

How far along were you when your RE suggested ending PIO? I'm 4w6d and will have my first ultrasound at 7w. I wonder if all goes well that he'd take me off then? I guess it varies? Did you have a specific progesterone level to reach before you stopped?

Just lookin for an idea how long of a haul this will be (however long it takes, I know!!)

Once I got my BFP I was switched from PIO to endometrin suppositories.

I thought I'd be on much longer, but my RE took me off PIO as soon as we saw the h/b at 7w. Freaked me out, to be honest, but I guess it's ok. I think most ppl are on it longer, though.

I was on PIO shots and suppositories until 10 weeks. I went off both cold turkey.

My RE took me off at 13 weeks.

Once I hit 6 weeks I switched to a differnt kind of PIO that we only inject once a week. I will be done with that at about 12 weeks.

I have been on both PIO and suppositories since my ER. My OB was comfortable taking me off the PIO after seeing the heartbeat at 6w2d...but I wasn't! I plan on staying on both until at least 10 weeks. I'm just paranoid after previous losses...
