What are all of you using for facial moisturizer, body lotion, deodorant, nail-polish, sunscreen, etc? I have read that there are some ingredients to stay away from but I went to Target yesterday and spent a lifetime staring at ingredients before I got frustrated and just left.

Haha...any brands that you can suggest would be great!

I think the big ones to avoid are vitamin A products (retinol and retin-A), benzoyl peroxide, and salicylic acid. However, it seems doctors disagree on the last two.

Face moisturizer - Oil of Olay (sensitive)
Body Lotion - Eucerin Daily Moisture
Nail Polish - check for formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene-free; I think Essie is completely free of these chemicals, as is much of OPI and Sally Hansen but I would still check labels. If it doesn't specifically say it is free of these chemicals, I don't purchase it.
Sunscreen - Aveeno sensitive skin, oil-free, 30+ spf
facial moisturizer - Boscia
Body Lotion - Earth Mama Angel Baby
Nail Polish - OPI still
Sunscreen - Burnout - It's what I use on DD and I just end up using it too.

There are a lot of ingredients that are harmful, especially oxybenzone which is found in a lot of sunscreens.
I'd be more careful about products you rub into your skin than things like nail polish, shampoo, etc.
First of all, I work for Aveda and have for 5 years. The following post is full of my opinions and is no way endorsed by Aveda.
But working in cosmetics, I am very aware of ingredients and I evaluate everything I put on my body.
So, most of my references are to Aveda products, but they're what I'm using too, and I'm uber-happy!
Face Wash: Aveda Botanical Kinetics Gel Cleanser (for oily to normal skin)
Face Toner: Aveda Botanical Kinetics Toning Mist (which dispels surface oil and helps moisturizer sink in)
Face Scrub: Tourmaline Radiant Skin Refiner (a clay and bamboo based scrub...most stores should have samples of this, if you drop by and ask for one--stores not salons)
Face Lotion: Aveda All Sensitive Moisturizer (lightweight, herb-based, and fragrance-free)
Body Lotion: Aveda Replenishing Body Moisturizer (light lavender and camomile fragrance--not one that sticks with me, or makes me nauseous).
Deodorant: Lush's "Guv'ner"
Nail Polish: Butter London, Zoya, NoMiss, or Julep
Sunscreen: Aveda Sheer (clear) tinted moisturer with SPF 15
All sally hason nail polishes are safe. They took the harmful products out of the polish. The face wash long as it's mild, as well as on here they have a link of the 4 chemicals to be sure it's not in there
