Hello December Mama's! I am thrilled to be joining you! My name is Lauren and I am from Long Island, NY. I had a blighted ovum in December 2011 and jumped the gun announcing our news to everyone before my 1st u/s! ((big mistake!)) I have been lurking since I got my BFP last month but was hesitant to intro until my 1st u/s. Anyways, yesterday was the big day and we heard the heartbeat & saw a little bean! I am actually measuring 2 days ahead so my EDD is 12/16/12! It is a big relief but I am still a bit worried. But, I need to stay positive!! I look forward to chatting with you ladies & re-connecting with some ladies from the loss boards who I see running around here!!

Welcome and congrats!
I had a blighted ovum a few years ago and it was devastating. It was so hard to keep having ultrasounds when I knew that the outcome wasn't going to be good (my RE required 3 ultrasounds with limited/no growth before he would proceed with a D&C or meds).
Hopefully, this pg will be uneventful.
