Latest nap time for LO and bedtime?

My LO seems ready for a nap after being awake for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs max. However, when I try to put him down for the night that's when he decides to stay up!  I had been letting him take a 45 min to 1 hr nap in the evening, usually starting around 6pm, then trying to get him to bed by 9... but lately he's been staying up until 11pm or later!  Should I be keeping him awake in the evening for a 3 to 4 hour stretch before trying to put him to bed instead of letting him take his evening catnap?

I aim for a 7:30 bedtime with LO and I need to make sure he's up from any nap by 5:30 and we've got no issues getting him down - so since he takes short naps, I try to get him asleep for that last nap in the 4:30/4:45 range.

Maybe try aiming for an earlier bedtime? He might actually be overtired, which is why he is staying up so late.

Hannah fights her evening nap so sometimes she takes one and sometimes she doesn't. When she does it's usually around 5-5:30pm and it's more like a cat nap just to get her by until bedtime. She usually only sleeps for 25-30 mins but it's enough to get her by until her bedtime which is between 7:30-8pm depending on how fast I get my other two down.

Our latest nap is between 3 and 4 and she is up by 5. Bedtime starts at 6:10 and she's in bed for 6:30.

Try turning that evening nap into bedtime.  That's what we did and he started STTN.  He wakes from his last nap around 430-5 and we start our bedtime routine at 645-7 and he's in bed usually by 7:30.

Lo's last nap is usually between 4:30-6pm.  He will then be up for about 2 hours before crashing for the night between 8:30-9:30pm.  He put himself on this schedule.  Occasionally he has fallen asleep between 7-8 and I have just used this as his bedtime on those nights.  We always do a short feed when I head to bed, whatever time that is.

My LO usually gets tired and takes a cat nap (maybe 20 mins) around 5-5:30 pm. We usually start bedtime routine around 6:00:6-30 pm and then she's asleep in her crib by 6:45-7:00 pm. We had her bedtime later (around 8:30 pm) but finds she goes to bed so much easier once we moved it forwards. I would definitely recommend moving bedtime earlier.
