Anyone's LO ever get it? I think my LO has it. He just got over having a fever for 48 hours & is back to his normal self. But then I noticed a blister on his foot. Does this sound like foot hand & mouth??
Now I'm off to do research....

It does sound like it. My LO didn't get the blisters but I know others Lo's who did. They don't just have to appear on the hands and feet. Can show up on knees/elbows,etc. Did your DS have trouble eating? That is usually a sign due to the blisters in their mouth. My LO barely drank and wouldn't eat solids at all. Luckily he was back to himself in a couple of days but it was VERY hard while going through it. Good luck.
We just got done dealing with this. DD had a fever one morning and by the afternoon I started seeing tiny bumps. By the next day the bumps weren't tiny-they were huge but she had no fever. She had the bumps everywhere-the regular places then diaper area and all over. It took about 5 days probably before she wasnt fussy but she still has some of the really bad bumps still healing over 2 weeks later. It was no fun.
DD had a fever last Thursday (103), and I noticed one bump in her groin area. The fever continued into Friday, when I noticed another bump on her foot, and one on the back of her leg. By Saturday, she was still feverish, and the bumps had spread on her arms and legs. Turns out she has chicken pox!
Yeah, I even took him to the dr. When he first had his fever & was cranky as heck. He didn't have spots until today (2 days later) & he no longer has his fever. He seems to be eating just fine, so idk if he has any sores in his mouth. I hope it goes away soon! Thanks ladies!

Yeah, I thought so, too! Luckily, it's a pretty mild case, and she doesn't know how to itch!
Dr. Kwok Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease is a viral infection that causes fever, blister-like ulcer spots in the mouth, and/or a skin rash. Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease is NOT the foot-and-mouth (or hoof-and-mouth) disease of cattle, sheep, and pigs. Humans do not get the animal disease, and animals do not get the human disease.
You could put your symptoms up directly and see what he says if your really concerned
