U/S question

I know I just went through this not that long ago, but I don't remember a thing.  Maybe other 2nd time moms can help me remember.

I called my OB's office to see if I can expect to have an u/s on Wednesday (my first appointment).  It was the receptionist, and she said some doctors will take you back for a quick scan, and then will schedule a real appointment.  I remember last time that my first appointment did involve a really fast u/s from my actual doctor.  But the one that they are going to schedule...is that the anatomy scan?  Or is there an u/s prior to that one?  I honestly can't remember.

Typically the one they schedule at that time is the 16-20 week anatomy scan.  (Some docs prefer it in the 18-20 week window.)

Thank you.  I couldn't remember for the life of me.  I figured they'd kind of have to give me one Wednesday for dating purposes.

Both first appts for me had u/s, but we had to have them both times for dating purposes.  Our OB doesn't do another until the 18-20 week window.
