UPDATE on my cat was attacked

Sorry to make a new post but I'm bumping on the iPhone right now.
Unfortunately, Ethel the cat took a turn for the worse last night and started having long, painful seizures. The vet called and I was able to go be with her when he put her to sleep and she died peacefully this morning. Thank for all yours T&Ps. I know she is no longer in pain and even though I will miss her, I'm glad she isn't suffering.
H and I are still keeping an eye out for the dogs who attacked her and talking to the police and humane society and I hope they are found before they can hurt any other animals or people. If they have owners, I hope those owners will be held responsible for what happened to Ethel and the other pets and for whatever they did to those dogs to make them so vicious. I do believe owners are the ones who make dogs like this and so I am no longer angry at the dogs and I hope when they're caught, they will be able to go peacefully like Ethel and not suffer either.

Omg - I am so very, very sad and so very, very sorry to hear your news. My heart was singing the other day when you wrote about how well Ethel was doing and the silver lining was in view.
Now I send you peace, strength, thoughts, prayers and the request to never ever forget her and hold her as close to your heart as you can/wish. This brings back so many memories (and tears right now as I write) of when we had to put our beloved cat down, and even though that was almost 11 years ago, it seems like yesterday. I still miss her everyday and think about her often - but take comfort knowing that she's in peace and doesn't hurt anymore.
