NBR: Anyone spot a whole week before period?

I'm not sure if this is a post pregnancy thing or what but I have been spotting since last Monday.  It's only sometimes when I wipe.  Usually, since having DS, I spot for about 3 days and then have a fairly heavy period.

 

Spotting, no period, negative pg test...what's up?  I asked the doctor at my yearly check up if the spotting before a period is normal-yes.  But I didn't ask what happens if the spotting doesn't lead to a period at all.  

Anyone else?

    Is your period late? I dont usually have spotting but I did before my last one. I had it for a week off and on. I am on a new BCP and I assumed thats why it was happening.

    I've been starting to spot at CD 21 and then starting heavy at CD 24.  I know to calculate CDs from the first day of red flow-usually CD 24 for me.  I'm on CD 28 today-so technically I'm late.  I'm most concerned about the spotting not leading to an actual period...yet.
