I really want a jogging stroller, but DH says he will divorce me if I get a stroller that costs 300 or more, so there goes the BOB that I found for 299.99. lol I have been reading reviews on the jeep strollers and they don't seem all that great because a lot of people complained about the front wheel and how heavy/bulky it is when folded. I found a jogger at target called "Baby Trend Expedition Jogger" and It's only 100.00 and has decent reviews. Does anyone know about this particular jogger or have any other suggestions that aren't super expensive for me? I sort of feel like you get what you pay for, but DH disagrees. HELP!
TIA
Re: jogging stroller question
I got my gently used BOB on Craigslist-- have you looked there? They just came out with a new model, so you might be able to find good deals on the older ones, if you're up for used (and you might even get the car seat adapter and such thrown in!).
I love my BOB--it was totally worth it!
I've also seen BOB's on Craigslist in my area, and I'm in a very small rural part of PA. You will spend a bit of time looking around to find a gently used one, but if that's the stroller you want, might be worth it.
Another suggestion - can you save money on something else to then justify the BOB? Like save $50 by buying a different kind of crib then apply that $50 to the stroller so you are only "spending" $250? Maybe hubby would go for that.
Coming from my MIL who raised my hubby in NYC where a stroller is a necessity, you definitely get what you pay for. If the stroller is something you will use daily, try to cut cost on something not as important.
Schwinn Free Runner is a fixed front wheel single jogging stroller that can take up heavy duty terrain. Considering all the features offered, + $150 is a very friendly price for first buying.
