The length won't be bad. Just the weight right??? That's what I've always heard anyway. If not, I'm I'm trouble too. DH is Sooo much taller than me! With a bigger head :-X

My older one was 10lbs3oz. His dad is 6'4. My younger was 9lbs even and my husband is 5'9. My older one has ALWAYS measured big. Off the charts sometimes. My younger, despite his weight, is a peanut. Everyone balks when I tell how I gave birth to a couple four month olds (I work in NICU, so that was really big to me) but when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter.:)

Notes:
My daughter was 2 1/2 weeks early and 9lbs 10oz and 21 1/2 inches. My son was 4 days late and 10lbs and 22 inches. However, when it comes to pushing something out of your vagina...I'm not sure that 5 pounds feels much different than 10!

MH is 6"3 with a watermelon sized head but his mom told me he was a small baby. I have often thought about the pain I could potentially occur so this was awesome to hear from the woman who gave birth to my massive H lol
I'm 6'1 and H is 6'0. Aaron was only 20 inches long when he was born and 8lbs 15oz. Now, however, he is on the 95th percentile for weight and height. Your body can do it.

Crossing my fingers our baby is more like me than like DH. I was 20.5" and under 7 lbs. He was 21+ and over 10 lbs. He keeps telling me how his family always has big babies around 10 lbs. and scaring the crap out of me!
Size truly does not matter. Big ladies can have trouble birthing small babies and small ladies can birth very large babies with ease. Your body will be able to handle it.
Blessed with one amazing husband, three awesome kids, 2 angel babies and had a healthy baby boy December 2012.

H & I were both big babies, on the upper end of 8-9 lbs I think. DS was 7 lbs, 13 oz. So, it doesn't always match. He also was a longer baby, and we're both of average height.

DS was 8 lbs 1 oz and got stuck. I almost ended up with a c-section but we compromised with an episiotomy and vacuum. Any bigger and I'm not sure I actually WILL be able to do it.

The size of your baby has more to do with your general health and nutrition than adult size. (That's what my pediatrician says anyway). DH is short (5' 9"), I'm average (5' 5") and both he and DS were 9lbs at birth (I was 7).
However, if the baby has tall genes you will be carrying and chasing a big toddler! After about 9 months genetics starts to take over in the size dept. I have a friend who is a tiny-framed 5'4" and her husband is like 6'2 and their 1 year old is taller than my 2yo and according to their doc, the height of a 3yo!
You don't have too much to worry about until after the baby is born

Did you deliver on your back with an epidural? I know you mentioned going med-free this time on 1st Tri. Positioning is #1 in being able to birth a baby, & on your back is physiologically the worst position possible. All fours or squatting tend to be best - they allow your pelvis to flex better.
ETA: If you haven't read Ina May's Guide to Childbirth & Spiritual Midwifery, I HIGHLY recommend both.
Re: You guys. I'm scurred.
Was your DS a big baby?

DS has a different father. He was 8 lbs 1 oz though. FI was over 10 lbs.
It might not be too bad - I'm 5'3" and DH is 6'4" and LO #1 (a boy) was 20"long and 8 lbs 3oz. He was born at 41.5 weeks.
Now, he's in the 80th percentile for height, the 70th for weight and the 95th for head size.
So, I think your body doesn't normally give you more than you can handle.
I didn't even equate height & weight, blonde moment, omg. I'm 5'4", DH is 6'.
Stephanie was born 21 1/4" long and 8lbs 4oz.
Unfortunately she was so large that she got stuck and we had to use a vacuum.
But - she was a week overdue too.
We're now preggers with #2, and I'm still worried.
