High hCG levels (of 95,000) at around 5 Weeks & now i'm really worried

Great, now i'm not worried that my high hCG levels indicates that i'm having twins, but now i'm worried that they mean that i might have a Molar Pregnancy =/ 

Anyone have any insight on this?  my US isn't until 5/9, so i won't know for sure until then.  but, now i'm sad and worried.

Did you chart? If you didn't then you could just be farther along as well. Or it's twins.

Was your last cycle lighter than usual?  You could have just had some implantation bleeding or old blood.  You could very well be farther along than you think you are.

You could have ovulated really early though! Would another few days' leeway make the number more normal?

WAIT A SEC. My LMP was 3/18 and I'm 5 weeks 5 days going by that-- I'm 5 weeks 3 days going by my O date. You would be over 6 weeks going by your LMP. Right??

no, it wasnt anything out of the ordinary.  the same type of cycle i usually have

Yes, but it's not unheard of to have your "period" and be already pregnant. You also could of ovulated sooner than day 14 of your cycle. Your levels are within range of 6 weeks abouts. Honestly, until you have your U/S your fine. More than likely you ovulated sooner, didn't really have your period last month, it's multiples, or you just have high levels. Just relax.

ETA: I just looked up your due date based upon your LMP. Your more like 6-7 weeks pregnant. So your levels are completely NORMAL!!!!

Do you understand to add 2 weeks to the conception date to equal the total # weeks that you are pregnant? I think that might be the issue here, if you think you're just about 5 weeks, could be that you miscalculated and you are just about 7 weeks.

High betas could mean multiples, though no doc would tell u this i bet.  it could also just mean 1 big healthy baby.  i had my betas done much earlier than you,so don't know what mine were at 5 weeks.  i, too, was worried about a molar pregnancy.. my betas were 13dpo 464 and 18dpo 3727.  The nurse said they would have been WAY higher if it were molar.  come to find out, high numbers were likely bc of multiples- I'm carrying 5! GL to you.  Try to stay calm- only an u/s will tell.

i experienced a molar pregnancy last oct. my levels were 500,000. **hoping for twins for you!***

My RE's nurse said high HCG levels do not mean much because sometimes they see high levels and then later they go more in the normal range and sometimes they're normal and go high...sometimes twins, sometimes not...she said you can't really go by that.

i should be between 6 and 7 weeks right now.  at the time that i did the blood test, my dr. said i was at 5 weeks.

yes, i was 6 weeks by the time i did the post, but i was posting about a blood test that i did while i was at 5 weeks. but, talked to my OB's office n they said that, although my #s are on the high side, they're going to take another look at my blood tests and, if my OBGYN sees something of concern, they'll move my appt up to this week to do additional tests. so i'll try to rest n not worry about it until/unless i get that call. thanks all of you for your help though!
