Had a good follow up appt re:spotting!

So spotting is on day 7. Had a exam and then an ultrasound Monday which saw baby and heartbeat. They did another exam today- dr said blood is definitely from the outside of my cervix, so nothing from where baby is! That was SUCH a relief to hear. Then he grossed me out with his anology of my cervix being like a skinned knee. Bad image. But, anyway, it should heal in another week, maybe two since today's exam will only irritate it more. Oh and this is a good excuse for no sex with DH for awhile lol. So anyway, more good news: I get another ultrasound in 2 weeks which is awesome, because it will be mothers day weekend, which is when we plan to announce to our family. It will be nice to confirm baby is still ok right before we announce! I feel very fortunate for good news and T&Ps to the rest of you with spotting, etc, I hope the worry ends soon for everyone!

Wonderful news! I was debating seeing if I could reschedule my appointment to a couple days earlier - so I can have another ultrasound in before Mother's Day. That just seems like the best time to tell all my family!
