I received a jury summons for the Federal Jury today for June.
I put in a postponement on the grounds that I will be undergoing my first IUI in June and need to be available to get to the RE.
I told them I could serve in November .
I'm not sure if the postponement will work -- but I'm not asking to not go at all, just to push later.
Of course, on top of all of it, I have to call in while we are on our Alaska cruise.
Anyone else have to do something similar?
Re: Found the Silver Lining to an IUI - Jury Postponement
Federal juries are really cool so I hear but I hope they give you the postponement.
Have fun on your cruise!

Haha this made me giggle, don't know why. As for the summons, I've gotten picked 4 times already and I've been able to postpone 3 of them for various reasons. They are normally flexible as long as you are willing to come another time. GL
