Rec: Gate for top of stairs - banister to banister

We're moving next week (eeeek!) and we'll need to get a new gate, the one we have now won't expand far enough to fit the opening at the top of the stairs at the new house.

So, I'm looking for a rec for a gate at the top of the stairs that is also mounted banister to banister.  (Ours is currently wall to wall).

Kiddyguard Avent retractable gate. You'll have to get the bannister kit for both sides, but it's the only decently made one I know that works at the top of stairs between bannisters. Plus, when it's open, it's out of the way, and not totally ugly.

We had a carpenter put an attractive wooden built-in gate at the top of our stairwell because one side is an awkward stone fireplace wall.  I looked at stair gate kits, but I just wouldn't have felt comfortable with any of them.  Ours is an unusual situation, but it's something to think about if you can't find something else that will work for you.
