Holy Pain in the Azz - Literally! (Beware - TMI)

So 2 weeks ago (2 weeks PP) I started noticing a pain in my azz - typically when I am sitting.  I noticed it at night when I would be in the rocker feeding LO - I would have to reposition a thousand times because I kept feeling stinging like pains in my butthole area (TMI).  There is also a lot of pain when having a BM.  I'm assuming this is a hemi?? but I'm not sure -- i never had this issue during pregnancy - and it just started 2 weeks after birth.  DH got me some Hemi cream - but it doesn't really seem to help.  Any advice?

    I had a couple hemis after DD, but I also had to deal with fissures (basically a tear/crack form going #2)  What you're describing felt more like the fissures than the hemis.
