Which monitor do you have?

I need an inexpensive GOOD monitor.  OMG I used the FP sound and lights last night that we got as a gift and oh boy I got a heachache all day (literally) from sleeping with that thing last night.  It was a migraine from the static that thing puts out.  Then I heard people wispering I got so freakin scared that I thought someone was in DD's room! DH and I RAN to her bedroom because of this. This monitor SUCKS BIG TIME!!!

Which one do you have?  TIA!

Re: Which monitor do you have?

  • We have the FP sounds and lights and it has worked great and we have had no problems with it at all. No static either. Did you try switching to the other channel??
  • Loading the player...
  • We have a sony babycall. So far we love it. I'm able to go from her room down 3 floors to the basement and we get no interference. It has an alarm to let us know if we're out of range.?

    ?

  • We're having static with ours too. ?We're thinking of buying a new one. ?We're going to try the different channels first and then make a decision. ?DD is not sleeping in her crib at night yet so we don't need it yet. ?The static does not bother me much during the day, but will be a PITA once she starts sleeping in her own room. Glad to know I am not the only one.
  • we have a FP 900 mhz one. we love it. no static or interferance or anything like that.

  • We have the Angelcare monitor.  Love it!
  • We have the Sony Babycall and love it.  No static to complain of... clear as a bell.  I think the price is not bad either.
  • It wasn't cheap, but under $50...we love our Sony BabyCall monitor. It works really well and the voice-activated setting is great!

  • I also have the Sony BabyCall and love it no static no interfernce, our neighbors have a baby too and never get them on ours.  It is the recommended monitor in Baby Bargains.  It was about $50 but I got it as a shower gift.

  • We also have the Sony. I have nothing to compare it to, but so far I think it works great. My next door neighbors have one too and we can use it in each other's houses and still hear our babies so I think the range is very good.
