um guys, according to the show she had No symptoms and lost weight. come on, its so easy to not realize that there is a growing being inside of you, kicking you, and changing your whole body.
(sarcasm over...)
that show just infuriated me so I had to turn it off because those were her "legitimate" excuses.
ok i am one fat a$$. and before DS i was very regular and then when i found out i was pg BOOM no period so i'm sorry being obese (i am considered it!!) is no excuse for not thinking your pg.

I watched that show a few weeks back. I have NO idea how you could go the entire pregnancy and not know you were pregnant. Unless you are totally out of tune with your body, how would you not know?

Just because you were regular doesn't mean obese women don't have a substantially higher rate of amenorrhea (not having your period). Look up PCOS for more information.
I knew someone that "didn't" know she was pregnant or so she said. She only gained 6lbs and one day just had BAD stomach pains so went to the ER and they said, you are in labor. She said WHAT? I didn't even know I was pregnant. It makes me sick too, she smoked, drank...did drugs. I mean seriously how can you go 9 months, and NOT know? My babies kicks were SO strong by month 8 I almost cried sometimes. So yeah not sure if I believe the whole NOT knowing.

Oh there is more than one story. This one women gave birth to twins!
She hadn't had a period in 14 yrs due to obesity so I can see her not knowing. Her doctors didn't test her for pregnancy because of that either.
What an amazing experience that must be for them. OMG
