Hey all,
We had our first IUI on Tuesday, and DH's analysis came back really interesting. His counts were still really low (3.5), but his motility jumped up quite a bit. He's had 2 analysis done so far, and his motility has been in the teens....this time it was 70! I asked if they were sure, and they were positive. Pretty amazing, and quite the shock. Hoping that's what it takes for us to get that BFP.
Now to get through that 2WW....
Re: First IUI done and interesting #'s
The only big change is that he finally has a job, and it's a great job. He was virtually unemployed for the past year and a half, and he started a full time job in March. So that's taken a huge amount of stress of his shoulders. But, my understanding is that the #'s are from 3 months ago...meaning we're seeing whatever was created or developed 3 months ago. Isn't that correct?
The only other thing I would attribute it to, is that he had a vasectomy reversal in June of last year....and the farther out we get, the better his motility #'s. His counts have stayed the same though.

This! Did they give you the prewash and post wash numbers?
This makes sense. They didn't give me 2 sets of numbers, so this may have been why the big jump.
