40 + weeks: constipation, nausea, migraines anyone?

I am officialy 40 weeks and 1 day. I have been a migraine sufferer before and during this pregnancy, though it has seemed to have improved in my 3rd trimester. The last two days, I have had horrible migraines that even my prescription hasn't even fully worked. On top of that, I have noticed it has been getting more difficult to go "number 2.," with today being the worse. I am thinking maybe the constipation is from constantly eating Tums for the heartburn. With all that going on, I get very nauseous after eating (even something small) and have lost my appetite the last couple of days too. Unfortunately, none of this is signs of labor, but of obvious discomfort. Anyone else having these symptoms?

I see my doctor again on Monday, but if these migraines don't get better I am thinking I should call the Dr. I know high blood pressure can cause headaches, but I haven't had any issues with my BP and it was fine at my last appointment. Sorry for the complaining, but I am feel like total dog $hit right now.

  • I'm not suffering nearly as bad as you are, but the anticipation is close to killing me! I have tried EVERYTHING to get this baby to come out... really don't want to be induced. I thought I was a patient person , but man!!!
