1. I told SO I had no idea what happened to all the KitKats in his Easter basket, for all I know, his niece ate them while we were babysitting. Oh, how yummy they were in the morning with some tea...
2. I am terrified of having twins. I know most women would be over the moon, but they run in SO's family and it's my nightmare. Double everything. Poop, prom dresses, college, weddings. I have recurring dreams from which I wake up in a cold sweat.
3. I've now become a master ninja farter, as we discussed last week. I can even throw it off in the elevator. I'm like a fart ventriloquist.

Just so you know, it doesn't matter if twins run in his family. The only way it would affect you is if twins run in YOUR family. It can be a genetic trait to release more than 1 egg during ovulation, which would come from you side. So, rest easy! If twins don't run in your family, you have no more chance of having twins than anyone else.
FWIW, twins are all over my side of the family, and I'm having a singleton!

Mine is that I called into work yesterday, because I haven't been sleeping well. (I work 13 hour overnight shifts). That excuse was mostly true, but it's really that I just didn't want to work 3 shifts in a row!

I to was terrified of having twins. I only want two kids and I figured that would be God playing a joke on me or telling his plan was three for me. I was so relieved whb there was only one little one on the u/s screen. I just remeber how hard the first few months were with one baby, let alone with a new baby and a toddler, let alone a toddler and TWO babies! Twins run on DH's side but not mine so I knew my chances were slim, but it still freaked me out.

Today is my MIL's bday, and DH and I, along with my SIL, are taking her out for dinner to celebrate. DH and I went to a good bit of effort to get my MIL a really sentimental present that she will love.
My SIL is really a sweet person deep down inside, but, she can be really self-centered and is one of those people who is always syaing they're broke, but somehow has lots of new clothes, their nails done, is going out to the bar every night, etc.
Anway, SIL texted last night, as in less than 24 hours before the event, to find out what we got MIL for a present, and asked if she could chip in on the present and have it be from all of us. I convinced DH to say no.
"A new baby is like the beginning of all things--wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities."
My parents are going to visit my grandparents four hours away this weekend and asked if DH, DS and I wanted to go so my grandparents can see DS. I want to go so they can see Alex but I do not want to make that drive. DS does not like being in car seat for long periods of time anymore. Even when we try to time it out with his naps. We had to go to NJ for Thanksgiving and screamed the whole car ride. A 4.5 hour drive turned into 6 because we kept having to stop to give him breaks. I have no desire to try to make the trip but I feel guilty because they have only seen him once when he was 3 months old.

This exactly. My DH's father is one of two sets of twins (total of six boys total, yikes!) So I find myself explaining that my chances of having twins aren't increased at all quite a bit.
Fraternal twins are caused by hyperovulation, when the woman releases two eggs, which are fertilized by the man. So the man really doesn't have anything to do with multiples.
I feel pretty bad about this, but it is a FFFC after all. My brother is proposing to his girlfriend today and we're going out to celebrate tonight. I'm trying to be supportive because I know he's going to do it regardless and it's not my business to intervene or give a lot of unsolicited advice. But I'm just not excited at all and think it sounds like an awful idea. She had her 19th birthday last month and I can't even say she's a mature 19. I wish they would just wait, go to college and be young.
Like the others, I am TERRIFIED of having twins. Considering we already have 2 kids, I told DH that if we have twins, I'm selling one of them on the black market. His response: Maybe we can buy a boat!

I'd probably feel the same way if my 21yo brother were to propose to his girlfriend, but it would be their choice so I would of course be happy and supportive for them. Although I'd need to practice my 'yay for you' smile ahead of time just to make sure I was ready.

I have a dr appointment at 1:00 this afternoon and even though I would have plenty of time to go back to work after, I'm leaving at noon and taking the whole afternoon off. Who would want to go back to work on a Friday afternoon? Not me!
I keep telling myself I'm craving salads but really, I just want the dressing, croutons, and cheese. If there happens to be some lettuce and veggies, oh well!
There is a woman at work with whom no one likes, and to make herself seem even better, she is walking around today telling people about her date she has tonight who isn't her husband. WHAT A SCUM BAG! If she talks to me about it I am going to let her know EXACTLY what I think about it. Pregnancy makes me fiesty. I'll let you know if the **** hits the fan. She's driving me nuts today as it is!!!!!

Ok, the woman in my office left without bringing it up in front of me, so no juicy drama story...BUT! I can give you a little insight on how this woman's mind works. She legitally believes that the more an African American couple have sex while the mother is pregnant the darker the baby's skin will be. I am being so serious about this. She has told so many people in my office this and asked us to ask any doctor about it. Yeah, if I want a doctor to laugh in my face then sure! I'll just do that at my next appt
Omg, I don't want her to know Im PG. I don't want her in my office telling me all her ridiculous stories. >_<
