Rec your video monitor please

I have an standard Angelcare but want to buy a video monitor as well. Which one do you have? What do you like or dislike about it? Thanks!

  • I have the Summer brand one... I really like it! I can't compare to anything else... but there really isn't a thing I don't like. The video is black/white but very clear. I like that LO's eyes glow when they're open...easy to see if he's awake.

LOL- mine isn't black and white, it's because it's dark in his room! I'm tired!

  • We bought a Lorex b/c you can add up to 4 cameras.  I love it.

  • Originally we bought the Summer Infant Slim but didn't get reception in all parts of our house.  We went back and purchased the Tommee Tippee and LOVE it!  No reception issues and considering the number of times the handset has accidentally been dropped it seems pretty sturdy.  It has a nice zoom feature and lets me see her chest rising and falling. Have not ever had any battery issues- it's plugged in over night and then unplugged throughout the day when we use it. The one we got also has the movement mat for under the mattress.  GL!
Tried for 2 years before diagnosed with DOR and low Progesterone. MC at 16 weeks in June 2010 (Told Placenta Previa contributed to the loss)

Surprise!! EDD 12/13/13 (Hoping for a VBAC!) Off home bed rest  and now just monitoring a large SCH. Stable in size but not going away. SHRINK PLEASE!

  • Angelcare now has a video monitor. We have it and like it a lot. 2 birds, 1 stone.
