So Would this Irritate you?
I am sorry but I have not posted in a long time. I have been very busy with my track team because we are in the championship season now. We hosted our region championship meet yesterday and our boys got 2nd and our girls won.
Onto my story: Our friend's sister and her husband have not been TTC very long. I think maybe 6 months but I'm not exactly sure. I remember how much I didn't know about IF at 6 months TTC. I still don't know that much. This girl messaged me on FB & asks me all these IF questions. She asked me about blocked tubes, which I don't have & don't know that much about.
I actually took the time to post a blocked tube question on here so I could help her out. Then I summed up every comment I received on here and wrote her back on FB. My message was long and detailed thanks to you guys comments. Well this chick never messaged me back or anything. She never even acknowledged my attempt in trying to help her, not a thank you, nothing. Apparently she had a hysteroscopy done to fix her tube which was one of the suggestions that you guys gave me & I sent to her.
She gave a hysteroscopy play by play on her FB page prior to her surgery. She was really dramatic about it like she was going into open heart surgery or something. I have had 3 laproscopic surgeries and never once posted about in FB & the only people who knew about my surgeries were my parents, in laws, & husband. Now everyday on FB she posts stuff whining about how awful her recovery is. It just really gets on my nerves because I feel like she is just begging for IF sympathy and for people to feel sorry for her. Maybe I am just easily irritated lately but it really gets on my last nerve. Would it irritate you?

It would bother me that you went through that much effort and she didn't even say Thank You! That is incredibly rude! Maybe she got busy and didn't have time to respond But if she could post on Facebook, she can respond to your email!!
It would irritate me that she posted that on Facebook but I get irritated when people post every detail about their life. That is just me though!! I don't mind when people post personal stuff occasionally but not every detail. Just unsubsribe from her posts. That way you don't have to read them anymore!

It would annoy me that she never wrote back to your message and I would never assist her in any way again.
But the FB thing wouldn't bother me. I have my share of dramatic FB friends. Some people are really into oversharing.

I'd be rather ticked off that she didn't acknowledge the info, and I wouldn't bother answering any future questions either, at least not in any depth.
As far as the FB posting, I think it bothers me WAY more when people post vague things like "Scared..." or "Off to the hospital" with no background info. This is just whorish attention-mongering, imo. Oversharing sometimes makes me cringe, but usually doesn't bother me too much. Constant whining on the same topic, however, pisses me off, and I have to sit on my hands not to type, "suck it up and get over it." If they do it too much, i just ignore their feeds.

This would annoy me too. Not just that she didn't say 'thank you' but it just seems insensitive.
