Success: I'm still pumping (tomorow will be 7 months!).
Struggle: I got very very lazy Easter weekend with my pump (usually 4x a day, everyday. One day was twice, three days was 3 times) so my supply dropped a decent bit. Also, we went out of town, so everything I had in the fridge went to the freezer, and it takes just a bit longer to "catch up" when I do that. I actually had to dip into my freezer stash (only the 2nd time, ever) for a few days.

Congrats on making it 7 months! I hope to go that long! And your struggle could be considered a success since it was only the second time dipping into your freezer stash!

Thanks! And you are right, it was also a serious eye opener. I really want to drop to 3x a day, but I can't do it yet. It reminded me that I have to be super diligent about it.

Success: I haven't forgotten any pump parts so far! I usually forget a bottle liner.
Struggle: I will be visiting another school tomorrow and will not have an opportunity to pump while I'm there. My 4-bottle "stash" will be down to three. =(

I ALWAYS used to forget parts when I would pump at work. That stinks that you won't have an opportunity to pump. Is there anyway you can take a break and pump in your car?

Success: Dropped one pumping session and am down to 3 times a day. I was a little worried about engorgement, but dropped it and feel fine.Struggle: To not stop all together. I'm only pumping about 9-oz a day with most of it in the morning and I really just want to drop the other 2 sessions. But my goal is 1 year of EP and it is thisclose. My freezer stash is about a quarter of what it use to be, but I think I can continue to give him BM til he is about 14 months!
Success: I have officially dropped my over the night pump session, I still feel so full and uncomfortable in the morning, but my sleep has improved so I am happy
Struggle: I need to keep my freezer stash fresh, but have been lazy at rotating it, as I keep adding to it at least every 2 days, around 12 oz, but I am not using any of it, at this rate I will end up letting some go to waste, and that is not ok, i work hard for that milk! I need to get on it, but have been lazy about it, I will take out a bag one day and use it, then will not do it again for another couple of days
Re: Hump Day Pump Day Check In
Success: I was able to donate 200 ounces of frozen BM to a family with twins that was in need.
Challenge: Pumping hurts lately. No matter what flanges I use and the amount of lanolin I smear on. It hurts. I am going to keep going though.

We are finally getting this bf thing down, and I can happily say that I have already fallen in love with it. It was tough at first, but so worth it!
My little guy slept 9 hours last night, only waking up once to eat! I'm sure it was a fluke on his behalf, but that sure made one happy momma!
Success: I was able to increase my supply by pumping every two hours over the weekend and on Monday
Struggle: I had my first PP Period today! And I was wondering why my supply was tanking...
