I hope this is it!

I am 39 weeks today and early this morning (at 3 am) I started having contractions. They felt like menstrual cramps and lasted only about 20 seconds, but came regularly every 15 minutes. Well, I got up and baked cookies and bumped and stuff, but by 7:30 am they had stopped. I saw the mw for a regular apt. at 11:30 and ever since then they've been regularly coming every 15 minutes, but never any stronger or longer. I know these are probably Braxton Hicks, but I am sooo hoping this is the beginning of labor for me. I don't relish the idea of having these contractions for several more days if not. DH and I are off tonight to a local restaurant where the salad dressing is supposed to make women go into labor! I'm sure it's just coincidental, but it can't hurt, right? Here's hoping...

Hope this is it for you! And not to burst your bubble, but I've had painful contractions every 10-15 min for many hours each day for close to 2 weeks and still no baby.

Haha what is in that salad dressing!? That is funny. Hope this is it for you I haven't had any painful contractions yet, just cramping every once in a while that isn't really timeable - so you never know!
