I am 39 weeks today and early this morning (at 3 am) I started having contractions. They felt like menstrual cramps and lasted only about 20 seconds, but came regularly every 15 minutes. Well, I got up and baked cookies and bumped and stuff, but by 7:30 am they had stopped. I saw the mw for a regular apt. at 11:30 and ever since then they've been regularly coming every 15 minutes, but never any stronger or longer. I know these are probably Braxton Hicks, but I am sooo hoping this is the beginning of labor for me. I don't relish the idea of having these contractions for several more days if not. DH and I are off tonight to a local restaurant where the salad dressing is supposed to make women go into labor! I'm sure it's just coincidental, but it can't hurt, right? Here's hoping...
Re: I hope this is it!
Haha what is in that salad dressing!? That is funny. Hope this is it for you
I haven't had any painful contractions yet, just cramping every once in a while that isn't really timeable - so you never know!
