I didn't forget to respond to you, but I figured I would start a new thread since the other one is so old. I delivered LO just 1 day shy of 40 weeks and he was 7.5 pounds, so he isn't really small. I have my OB appointment next week and I'm hoping to have some news about the pathology of my placenta. It was either 1/3 the size it should have been, or 1/3 smaller than it should have been. I don't remember what my OB said.

Hi! Wow that's great that your LO was a nice size at birth! I've read a lot online about some scary outcomes! I hope that the pathology comes back with answers for you. Part of what makes it so frustrating for me is that I'll never know if my water breaking had any relation to the placenta and if I'll have other premature labor with other pregnancies. Keep me posted on what you find out and if you're given any other info on this subject. Never in a million years would I have thought that I'd be so interested in this topic!! Haha
