3 month growth spurt

Is it normal for a baby going through a growth spurt to not be hungry?

DS has been asleep WAY more than usual since around 5pm last night. I have read that that is really normal when there is a growth spurt--but he is LESS hungry than usual, and I thought it should be the opposite. He usually nurses and gets about 20oz of formula in a day--we are only up to 11oz today.

I took his temp, no fever. He is peeing and pooping normally...
