biometrics done early!

For those of you doing IA and needing to get your biometrics (fingerprints) taken for your orphan immigration petition (for us it is the I-600A and I think it is something like the I-800 for Haugue countries)- it might be worth going in earlier than your appointment date.  DH and I got our appoitnment notice in the mail on Friday for May 7.  We had heard from friends that sometimes you can go early and ask if they have time to take you.  We went today and sure enough they "fit us in."  Really though, there was no one else at the office so it wasn't a hassle to fit us in at all, though the officer let us in a bit begrudgingly. 

This might just be in our area, but I thought I'd share for others who are adopting internationally!  Every step forward feels so good!
