Repost: NBR: Kindle Fire owners come in (new question)

Hi Ladies,

I hope you don't mind that I reposted this.  I asked about Kindle Fires this weekend but was hoping to get a little more feedback since hopefully there are more ladies on here today.

 It looks like DH is getting me a KF for my bday, I was hoping for feedback.  What do you love/not love?  Anything you wish you had knew before getting one?  

I mostly plan to read books and magazines on it.  Is there a glare if you are outside?

    It is not going to be ideal in the sunshine just like most computer screens.  If that's what you want it for...go for the original Kindle.

    I love mine. I use it for reading, fb, email, and a few other apps. DD likes the piano app. I have one magazine subscription on it which it is fine for. There is a glare outside but you can buy screen covers for like 3 for 5-10dollars to stop the glare. It is a tablet so the glossy cover is meant for better picture quality for videos, pics ect... I do not like how my husband is constantly stealing it to play angry birds.
