I mentioned earlier that I was making my first tiered cake for Ty's baptism yesterday. Well, thankfully it turned out!!! The decorations we were using were things my MIL had leftover from my SILs wedding (which was all bright colors and Tiffany Blue), so I was either going to go with muted gerber daisies, or bright flowers, depending on the florist selection! As you can see - I went bright! I'm so glad I did too, because it really made the cake pop!
Anyway, I just had to AW it because I'm so happy it turned out!

I ended up going with Cookies & Cream and White Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse. I really wanted to do something with Nutella, but I already had to use so much butter for the buttercream frosting that I didn't want to add any more butter to the cake!!
I will be making cupcakes for a friend cookout on Friday so I'm thinking Nutella Buttercream!!
