I have zero feeling like i'll ever go into labor.

My nightly contractions stopped a few days ago. Do I dare say I actually feel "good"?? I just feel like i've been stuck at 1cm, and thick for 3 weeks now like i'll never go into labor. I did with my DS2 at 39wk2d, and I wish I wrote somewhere how I was feeling in the days/week preceeding. I'm just afraid that i'll never progress, and being a vbac, they can't induce withwith cervadil or any other cervix ripening agents... just pitocin. They also won't let me go much past 40 weeks. I *really* don't want a c-section. Like really really don't. I figured this being my 3rd that she would like fly out. I know I have some time still... but I wish my body would do something!

I feel the SAME way. I am about ready to skip going to bed at night, period. That is when ALL of my contractions/cramping stops. I was actually in so much pain last night around dinner time from the cramping and contractions and honestly thought for SURE this time something would happen. Went to bed and NOTHING!!!! Honestly, I'm through with going to bed!!

I hope something happens with you soon so you can avoid the pit and a possible c-section! :-(

I hear you. The BH I'd been consistently having since week 26 stopped last week, I've seen no evidence of my mucous plug, and my bump is still high enough that I can button prepregnancy pants, though it has dropped a bit. My MW told me on Friday that at my current rate of progress, I'll be ready to deliver in about four years. Fun stuff.

I'm in no rush to deliver this baby, but I am concerned because my birthing center has a strict 40W6D cutoff, after which I'd have to go to the regular hospital. Oh, and my mom went to 44 weeks with her first (me)...

Riiiiight there with you. My first was 38 weeks second was 37 weeks. Third? I'm about to hit 40. Wtf. I had a c-section with #1 so my doctor is scared to induce but I have a feeling if I go into his office here in a few hours and he says no again I'm going to break down crying. I don't WANT induced, but I don't want a c-section due to him letting this kid hit 10 lbs in there either!

Yup, I hear you. I would love for something to happen, but I'm still carrying high, still no mucus plus and still no contractions or cramping. My induction is scheduled for next Tuesday and I'd really prefer to go into labor on my own.

And the fact it's supposed to be 90F today does not make things better.

Yes! That is exactly how I'm feeling. I will be pregnant forever. And I've already had tons of emails and calls to see if baby is here yet.

I am feeling the same way! I am hoping for a VBAC but as it gets closer to my due date I am thinking it is less likely. My doctor won't let me go past my due date which means I have until the 25th for something to happen. The baby is still so high with zero dilation. I am hoping the baby drops soon...
