Karly just vomited. Total blowout. I fed her earlier and the we both fell asleep on the couch. I realized a warm sensation on my stomach and then my dh ( who was on the floor in front of us) jumped. I sat up and she went everywhere. She soaked me, herself and my sofa not to mention dh. It even came out of her nose. She seems fine but now shw wants a bottle. I gave her half an ounce of pedilyte but that didn't help. What do I do? Oh, she did a lot of spit ups today.
ps..How do you clean baby vomit off a suede/leather sofa?

Re: mommies i need some help
That IMO is a call your pedi thing! Let us know how she is doing. Poor little girl!
(don't have couch advice)
I Kate spits up ALLLLL THE TIME. My doctor said the difference between REAL vomit and spit up and the way she is acting. If she is still acting normal and wanting to play etc (well as much as she can at her age haha) then its only spit up, even if its TONS and its all day or for a few days. Kate does it ALL the time, Im taking A LOT ha-ha. If she is acting sick and not wanting a bottle then most likely its real vomit and she might have a bug. Also if she never spits up and keeps it up for a day or it comes in waves like it would if you had a bug its prob. is a bug. I hope she gets better. If she wont take a bottle and is still spitting up/vomiting then call the doctor in the morning!!! GL sweetie!

ronnie goes through fazes where he does that (whole bottle, out the nose, projectile) everyday..in fact he is in one of them now!?
for him, its caused by his reflux...when his reflux was at its worst he did that at least once a day, and every other feed he would just have small spits..
our doc told us of course that it can be totally normal..which it is for him, and echoed what lrrb said about how they act..ronnie will be flipping out for the first few minutes, because it hurts, and hes catching his breath..but after i hold him for a few he is totally normal and hungry again! (our doc says to wait 30 minutes before feeding again).
ugh, i don't know about the clean-up..i know this is terrible, but i am soooo used to it now, that when he starts his little noise that means its comin up, i grab him and face him outwards and he just spews all over the floor..easier clean-up..we paid $200 to clean our couch last month because of all the puke!
