Whelp, I'm going to get my period

Adeline is 4w old today.  When Edie was 5w old, and I was EBF, I got my first PP period.

Yesterday I started feeling period cramps.  And my kind of dry brown blood turned kind of mucous-y.  I'm probably ovulating.

I'm thinking of calling my OB on Monday because I want the BCP ASAP!

That's crazy, you poor thing. I was ripshiit when mine came back after 5 months of EBF, I can't imagine 5 weeks.

I'm sorry Dixiee, I thought I had it bad. With dd my period came back at 9 weeks even though I was breast feeding.

Wow; I guess I need to do some research, because I didn't even think it could happen that early; I thought that if you were breastfeeding, it was at least 12 weeks before you had to worry about that! Oh boy....

bummer! I haven't had my period for more than a month or two in a row in over 8 years. That is going to be a time of reckoning when we are completely done w/ pregnancy and breastfeeding.

that's what i thought too!  last time, i thought maybe my PP bleeding had just come back, but it felt SO MUCH like my period.  and after trying to get pregnant for 15 cycles prior to that pregnancy, i was pretty in tune with the way my female parts functioned and how it felt when they did so.  then, exactly 28 days later, it happened again.  then again.
