My DD will be 14months old when this baby is born. We are thinking of having similar sounding names if this one is a girl too. DD is Charlotte Catherine. What do you think of Colette Christine for this baby? Is it too close? Is the C C repeat too cutesy? Opinions please? Thanks

Re: Sibiling name Opinions
I think Charlotte and Colette go really cute together and if you really like it then go for it!
DD1 is Hannah and I like the name Heidi and if I can't find anything else, I might still use it even if its "matchy". Still looking for suggestions though since we are not set on it.
I don't think that the two girl's full names would be used at the same time very often. I think that Charlotte and Colette sound good together, not too matchy. As for the double "C" middle names, I think it's fine.

I think the CC CC thing is too cutesy. It leaves me with the impression that you're only naming #2 to match #1. Not saying its your real reason but that is the impression I get hearing that sort of naming plan
I had a best friend growing up named Brian. He was named that because it "matched" his older brother Bradley. He hated feeling like his name didn't get much thought. Side note: Their neighbors growing up were brothers named Bradley & Brian as well!
I also have an uncle and aunt (not twins) named Dennis & Denise. They told Denise they liked Dennis' name so much they thought Denise would be nice enough too.

I love when families do this, Im not 100% sure why but if I have more then one child Im hoping to keep the first letter all the same
I know a family that went with Heidi, Holly (twins) Heather and then last Hailey
