Ladies with outside babies- What have you done since having the baby that you couldn't do before? For me, the first thing was having a beer twice in one week. Freaking amazing.  Then, I was able to tie on my sneakers! Tonight, I think the angels may sing from the heavens, because Im thinking of painting my toe nails. woopwooooop!

Girl beers. Mike's released the summer flavor of Strawberry Lemonade, and it makes mommy happy.

I painted my toe nails. I was excited to be able to pull over the strap on my (maryjane) shoes.

And last but not least, sleep on my belly!

The first meal after giving birth was Jimmy John's- I was craving a cold turkey sandwich like no one's business.  The next night was a sushi feast from our favorite restaurant that DH brought to the hospital.  Home it was shaving my legs, sleeping on my stomach (heck, just being able to turn and change positions in bed was heaven), put pants and socks on...it's been verrrrry nice

This was me too....DH went and got me Jimmy Johns and a diet pepsi while I was still in the hospital!

The absolute first thing I did was have a guilt free diet coke while in the hospital. Since she has been here I have indulged in a couple beers, a super hot bath, visually(as apposed to blindly) shaving my "goods", and slept on my stomach.

Slept on my stomach. I want to have wine but since my vag exploded and I'm taking Lortab, I can't mix the two. My sis gave me a really nice bottle as a gift after Clara was born, but I haven't been able to indulge yet.

Turning over in bed is just the most fantastic thing and not having to take teeny tiny baby steps bc of the stabbing sciatica pain. I love not being pregnant anymore and have a teeny person to take care of!

I had a C/S and  jealous of all the things you guys are able to do! I did have a nice Asian iced coffee with who knows how much sugar and caffeine is in it, a cold cut sandwhich, and slept on my back.

I had some bourbon when I got home from the hospital, and hubby and I toasted to me surviving. I could only drink a few sips because I'm still so weak, but man, they tasted fabulous.
