Hey everyone!
So my husband and I have decided on a boy's name for sure (William Andrew), but are struggling with deciding between 2 girl's names: Evelyn and Sophie. We love the meanings of both (life and wisdom, respectively), and her middle name will be Love. I feel that Sophie sounds like a kid's name (and kids do grow up, even though we don't want to believe it :-) ) and he feels that Evelyn sounds too old (which I counter with nicknaming her Ellie while she's a child). Thoughts? We find out the gender in less than 3 weeks and we're so excited!

ACK! William Andrew is perfect - in my opinion
DS is William and I wanted to use Andrew, but it's one of my two brothers' names and I didn't want to only name a child after one of them.
Love!
I don't like Sophie on it's own, I love Sophia and the nn Sophie is cute.
Evelyn is nice, I prefer the nn Evie over Ellie, since Ellie/Ella/Elle are so popular.
If the name would be Sophia with the nn Sophie I would pick that. If the name is just Sophie, I would go with Evelyn.
I'm really over Sophie. I used to love it but now it's way too popular for me. Evelyn is considerd popular as well but it's a more refreshing to hear than Sophie. But honestly, they're both good choices. I love William Andrew! You have good taste.
