if your looking for honesty then im not to fond of this name. now i do think if you name the baby after someone you may have lost or has meant something to you like have a meaning behind it then go for it......... i also think who am i to tell you about a name you really might like

I think Susan is dated, 70's, and dusty. I don't think it's quite ready for a comeback (I wouldn't be surprised to see it on our grandchildren someday, however).
The more flowery Suzannah is definitely in fashion (in a pretty, off-beat kind of way), if you're like something a little more flashy.
I'm a Suzanne and there aren't that many of us out there. I like it much better than Susan, which seems a bit dated to me. Do be aware, some people do not see a difference between Suzanne/Susan/Sue/Suzie. They think they're interchangeable!
Growing up, I was always Suzie. Made the switch to Suzanne when I went away to college (perfect time for that change, BTW).

I don't like it. There is nothing wrong with the name and it would be a fine choice, it's just not for me.

It's not a bad name... but personally, I think it's dated a little boring.

I agree. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOVE Susannah. I want to name our baby this, but my H doesn't agree. :-(
