Re-Do CIO after LO learns to crawl and pull up?

Anyone have to re CIO after their LO learned to pull themselves up on the crib? We re-started it last night and LO cried 5 minutes initialy but woke up 2 hours later and cried for 40 minutes (one check).  She slept the rest of the night.  Hope this gets better tonight. Please reassure me.  We did CIO when LO was 5 months old and I KNOW that it can work wonders, I just didn't know it would be so hard to do it again.

I hate it...we had to restart when we got back from Florida.  LO slept in a PnP in our room while we were away and the trip back to the crib was less than pleasant.  I remember DS#1 had a hard time around the 8 month mark when he learned to pull up.  He would wake in the middle of the night, pull up on the side of the crib and scream because he couldn't figure out how to get back down.  Letting him cry seemed horrible because he actually was "stuck" standing in his crib.  It took a few nights of going in and just taking his hands off the side and letting him fall to a sitting position in the crib to cure the habit.  He soon started sleeping...or at least entertaining himself when he woke up...again.  Good luck!
