avent nipples

is there one that is smaller than the size 1?  I started pumping because we are going to a wedding this weekend.  Good thing tried her on a bottle because the size 1 avents are too fast for her.  She was choking and spitting out all the milk.  I never had this problem with DS. 

If avent doesnt make a size 1 can you recommend another brand that might have a slower flow.

the Dr. Brown's bottles level 1 or the NB level is a lot slower than the Avent level 1.  My DS can only handle Avent if he is starving! Otherwise it mostly ends up on him.  The Playtex Drop ins (nurser level) are even slower than Dr. Brown, but for us they are too slow.  He never finishes that bottle and falls asleep.  HTH.

NUK nipples will fit on an Avent bottle (except the Tempo system one).

It has a much slower flow than the Avent nipple.

Good to know, thank you.  I prefer that Avent bottles any day over cleaning the Dr. Brown.

I agree- Dr. Brown's are MUCH slower than Avent's.  We use both... but at first we preferred Dr. Brown's because they didn't overwhelm DS.

Thank goodness we have a dishwasher and some munchkin baskets.  I rinse Dr. Brown's bottles and throw the pieces into those baskets to get them completely clean.

I've only tried the Dr. Browns and love them.  She has no problems with it coming to fast or choking on it.  

 I don't mind the parts either I just put them all in dishwasher.
