Children's hankie size question

In the midst of all of my sewing post partum pads, nursing pads, burp clothes, and wipes DS has gotten a cold. With DD2 so close to being here I want to be able to make sure DS and DD have enough hankies to go to Grandma's and other caregivers house and not worry if they lose them so I wanted to make some extras. The adult ones generally end up squished and stick out of pockets and are in general just not a good size for them. What size should I make for little hands and pockets? The regular ones we have are 10 1/2 x10 1/2, so I'm thinking maybe 7x7?
