Little lump on back of head

Poor DD has pink eye and her ear infection is still there.  Tonight I noticed a small little lump on the back of her head (more towards the back of her neck).  Could this be a swollen lymph node?  Any ideas?

    is it pea sized? if yes then I would have to say yes! I noticed the same thing and took my DS to the pedi and he said its his lymph node. There was one on the left and right side fyi. No biggie :)

    Yes it is pea sized (maybe a little smaller).  Thanks :)  She has to get her 2nd round of flu shot on Friday and her ear looked at again so I will get the nurse to check it out.  You wouldn't even know she is sick she's such a happy baby....knock on wood :)

    Just asked the pedi about it on Friday - she said it was a lymph node and completely normal!

    Wow, that is funny!  I noticed two small bumps on DD a couple weeks ago and have been keeping an eye out to make sure they don't get bigger because I was going to ask the pedi!  I am so glad it's normal!!
