Introduction!

Hello fellow Bumpies! A few years ago I frequented these forums a lot with my first child, my now almost 3-year-old daughter. I have to say my pregnancy with her was a definite cake walk -- I only had morning sickness two or three times (and all of those times were also when I was in a car with my hubby driving).

 Anyway, my name is Brooke. I'll be 26 this year, I had my baby girl in 2009, and I got married to the love of my life in 2010. I'm from the Mississippi area, too.

Um, I actually found out I was pregnant as I got the flu -- for three days straight I "felt" pregnant on top of being sick, but my hubby swore up and down that I was "just sick". On the third day I demanded he bring home a pregnancy test after work. The next morning I woke up, took the test, and I was right. I went to my Nurse Practitioner the following week to get it confirmed.

We weren't really planning to have another kid so soon since I keep flip-flopping on "when" I want one. So this one was another surprise, but oh well. My daughter is ready for a sibling (at least she says she is), and hubby and I have no problem raising another kid. Haha!

I've yet to get an appointment with an OB-GYN, though. My last one was terrible except for on a few small things. He was described as this by a friend: "Dr. House when it came to bedside manner, looks like a Hobbit, and has farmer hands." -- but I'm looking for an OB-GYN I can feel comfortable around. My estimated due date right now is late November until I get a more accurate date.

Sorry, I'm rambling. Anyway, it's nice to meet you all and I hope we all get to know each other over the coming months!
