Didn?t see this on the FAQ page. Sorry if it?s already been discussed.
I know I can?t use fabric softeners on CDs, but is it still ok to use either the liquid and/or sheets on our other clothes? Will they create a film in our washer or dryer? TIA!
It's best if you don't use sheets on your other clothes. The residue can get on the diapers. If you want to use a liquid fabric softener, I've had good results with Ecover fabric softener. I like the scent of the one with the yellow cap...don't remember what it's called!
I personally wouldn't just because I would forget to take the dryer sheets out and then they'd mess with the diapers. I'm all about convenience though.....we use one detergent for everything (Ecos), wool dryer balls for everything and vinegar as a fabric softener for our clothes.

Most commercial fabric softeners and dryer sheets are full of chemicals that can cause cancer and brain damage. I would never use them. Look at these links:

If you want to soften fabrics and reduce static, add 1/4 cup of vinegar to your rinse cycle and use wool dryer balls instead.
