So nervous! HR pregnancy #1

I am pregnant with out first child... It was a bit of a surprise but I am thrilled as is my husband. I am 11 wk and have had my first ultrasound at 7wk and the doc said everything looked great and the baby was where is was supposed to be sitting etc. but I am a HR preg. being type 1 diabetic...I want to tell my family and friends but I feel like I shouldn't tell anyone until we have the child...I'm saying my prayers everyday... Any advice?? First post here and so happy there is a wonderful site for women like this!! Wishing everyone a H&H 9 mo!!

I highly recommend the High Risk Pregnancy board.  There are a lot of ladies on there with Type 1 Diabetes and with Gestational Diabetes. 

I'm also high risk (I have a Unicornuate Uterus) and my philosophy has been that it's best to take it one day at a time.  Look forward to your next appointment, be happy that everything is going well today.  Statistically speaking, chances are everything is going to be fine, so be happy about what is going well rather than constantly worrying of what could go wrong.
