TMI Question - CM during IVF

OK, I kind of feel silly asking this question, but here goes....

I have completed 4 days of stims - 300 Follistim for 2 days followed by 150 Follistim +75 Menopur for the next two days. Tonight's dose will be day 5.

I noticed yesterday that my ovaries are really feeling swollen. Something is definitely going on in there. And then today, TONS of sticky and EWCM. I mean a lot. In regular, unmedicated cycles, I get my EWCM the day before ovulation.

Am I stimming too fast or is this just normal CM considering all the hormones pumping through my system?

One of my fears is that I will ovulate on my own before ER and all the money will be wasted. I realize this is probably an irrational fear, but I'm a crazy IVF rookie right now.  This also plays against my other fear that I am not stimming enough and will only have 2 follicles. (sigh)

This always freaks me out but completely normal. I do not know exactly why, but I have a lot in days 8-10+ of stims and first IVF I did not O early.

If you are unsure speak to your nurse but from what I have read it is not abormal.

Completely normal part of IVF - your estrogen is going up so you feel your ovaries and your CM increases.  It'll continue to get 'worse' until ER.   

You are on lupron - I promise you are not about to ovulate.  It's very rare for that to happen.

I didn't have any EWCM during stimming but I did ask my RE about possibly ovulating early since my E2 had dropped before retrieval.  She said that being on Lupron should prevent you from ovulating early.  Good luck Melle!  And the swollen ovaries is a good sign that something is going on in there!

Ha! I literally drove myself nuts with this, I thought I for sure O'ed on my own.... I even told the nurses beforehand because I was so scared I did.

I think it is normal, and like pp said, the Lupron will keep you from ovulating early.

I am a veritable CM making factory when stimming. I don't have anything else to add but just wanted to say hang in there and am sending you lots of follie making dust! You will have to let us know when you get an u/s to see how you they are doing.

This made me lol just because so many of us deal with the same thing! I glad you asked actually because this cycle while stimming I had crazy amounts of CM.....and I was freaked out about ovulating too!  It all worked out well though!
