Do I belong on this board?

So I've been reading through posts and I've seen a few replies that if you're not trying for your first that you should be on the secondary IF board? We do have a daughter, but I thought that secondary IF was if you had no problems the first time?

 Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to offend anybody by being here. If there's a more appropriate board for me, then I'll move. You ladies seem like a great bunch though, so I'd like to stick around if you'll have me

I though people only had an issue if you have a pic of your child in your sig... did you concieve her with IF treatments?  then it wouldnt be secondary right? idk, but my opinion is that youre welcome here and on Secondary.  GOod luck!

Thanks Yes, we did do IF treatments (but not IVF, which seems to be the norm over here) for our first. (And second, which ended in a miscarriage)

And there's no way I'd put a pic of her in my sig on an infertility board. That would be completely insensitive! You don't need to worry about that.

Well this board is IF but the forum isnt so people tend to have lots of things in their sigs... welcome & good luck!!!

Welcome to the board!  There are a lot of us who haven't moved on to IVF.  I just went through an ectopic after our second IUI cycle and will more than likely move into a 3rd sometime this summer.  I'm not saying we won't move into IVF in the future but for the time being, we're still doing IUIs

You're certainly welcome to post, and I certainly appreciate your sensitivity in asking.  Most women that have children do post on Secondary Infertility or Success After Infertility (there are women cycling on that board, too).  I can think of a couple of people on the IF Board that have had children, but they've been very respectful usually -- not including pictures of their children in their signatures, for instance.  Good luck to you!
