How often do you bathe your 1 month old?

DD hates the bath! I know she does not get real dirty right now, so every night isn't really necessary. How often do you bathe DC?

Every other day. Her hair gets really oily.

Usually about every other day or every three days unless he makes a mess with a bunch of spit up or a horrible diaper.  He loves his bath but it's not necessary to do it that often, espeically during the week when I'm exhausted from work.

I'm a daily bather! DS gets a bath right before it is time for his last bottle. He hates it at first but he gets used to it and now enjoys it. Also, using the Johnsons night time stuff really helps him sleep, it's a miracle soap.

Her stump just fell off. I'll probably bathe her every 3 days or as necessary. She hates it.

I bathe DD every night around 8-8:30, then I put the Aveeno Lavender Calming lotion on her and put her pj's on and then her sleep sack and then will feed her if she hasn't had it before, then she is usually down for the count. She did not like it at first and now I make sure the water is real warm and make sure the warm water is put on her back before setting her back in her tub and she stares at me the whole time without crying.

At that age, I was bathing my DD ever 2 to 3 days.  By month 2, I bathed her every night to start to try to schedule her.  DD is now 12.5 weeks old and really enjoys her nightly baths.  I usually try to start 30 minutes before her last feeding and put her to bed after DH reads her a book.
