eating habits

How are your eating habits since finding out your pregnant? At you eating healthy or on a binge fest? For the most part i'm trying to eat healthy since I shouldn't gain to much weight, buy I do have my junk food days. When I have bad days I try to be a little more active.

  • I have incorporated a lot more fruit into my diet and I try to make healthier choices for meals.  I'm not overweight but I could stand to lose a few pounds.  Most of my meals aren't at home so trying to change food habits is hard but it's worth it.  I allow a splurge here or there.  Like a cup of sugar free pudding or a frozen fruit bar.

  • Well I just found out yesterday that I was pregnant, but I stopped all caffiene instantly which I thought would be hard, but the thought of soda or tea seems really gross to me right now.

    Today I plan on oatmeal, frozen yogurt for lunch, and lots of fruits and veggies in between. Of course with plenty of water.

    I am sure cravings start kicking in, it wont be as easy.

  • I'm actually a pretty healthy eater in general, so I didn't make a lot of changes.  I had been working on cutting back my caffeine and now I drink a lot less soda and coffee.  I usually just drink coffee for the taste, but I've noticed that I don't really like it since I've gotten pregnant.  I am starving ALL THE TIME, but I'm trying to eat small frequent meals and not stuff my face lol
  • I generally eat fairly healthy, so for the most part I am trying to continue my eating habits.

  • I was really sick for a couple of weeks in January. Since then, I have lost my taste for caffeinated drinks. I eat relatively healthy and will try to continue it. My hunger is a little out of control right now, but I am conscience of what I put in my mouth.

  • It's amazing, I haven't been really craving anything bad lately.  I know that's going to go away, but I've been wanting to eat (when I'm actually hungry) fruit and veggies and fish.

  • I've been eating more healthfully.  I have been trying to get more iron and calcium, too.  It's hard to make sure I'm getting all appropriate nutrients!  (My PNV doesn't have any iron in it! blah!)

    Like several others here, I'm generally a pretty healthy eater so I've just been sticking to my normal routine, except eating maybe a little more -- I'm hungry ALL THE TIME! I've also been drinking lots and lots of extra water, and I have switched to decaf coffee (the horror). I haven't had any cravings or sickness yet except for a little nausea this morning which went away when I had breakfast, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

  • I have found that my desire for sweets (with the possible exception of ice cream) went out the door, but I have been good about eating lots of fruits and veggies.  I have noticed that I am basically always hungry now -- even when I have nausea, I still feel hungry (which just makes me feel worse at the thought of eating).
