Ectopic or losing a multiple?

Hi all, just wanted a place to share my story. Feel free to comment if youve had a similar experience.

At 4 weeks my hcg level was 3700 --super high levels. Exactly one week later it had only risen to 4600. Doctor said it could be that I lost a multiple (I had artificial insemination) or that it was ectopic or that there's a slight chance everything might be fine. Well, I'm a realist and know that theres something seriously wrong with  how slow my hcg has risen. Now, I have to wait until Wed (2 more days)  to get hcg checked again and an ultrasound to see what's going on. 

So far I've had 2 incidents of very minor brown spotting followed by slight pressure (wouldn't even call it cramping). No pain as of yet or actual bleeding.  

I will post Wed. night my results!

I'm sorry but I don't have any personal experience even close to yours but I just wanted to tell you good luck and don't give up hope.  You never know how things will work out and I hope for the best for you.
