Okay ladies I am new to this whole yoga thing. I was in some serious back pain with DD in my 3rd trimester. I am hoping this will help me this time around.
Anyone else doing this or can recommend any dvds? Or any other insights?

I practiced yoga regularly before I was PG. I intended on continuing with prenatal yoga at my local studio. Yoga has tremendous benefits and makes you feel wonderful.

I have never done yoga before but my dr recommends it, probably more of a mental stress relief... Do prenatal yoga classes exist or would one just take up a beginners yoga class?
This is the one my yoga class recommened and it is for pre and post baby. Its not slow where you don't feel like you are getting a workout but not too hard for beginners!

If you haven't done yoga before, I recommend taking a prenatal class once a week. You can get some dvds too to practice at home, but it's much better to take a class if you can. Prenatal yoga classes usually have small numbers, so the instructors can really help personalize the positions to find something that works for you. Having an instructor will be especially helpful if you've had back problems before.
